    国外与国内先后对于世界文明的历史进行了或进行着研究，从而引发出一系列的争论，如对于文明和文化的理解、它们的含义的界定以及它们之间的关系等等。其实，另有一个重要问题，即我们应该如何正确地对待世界文明的历史，科学地探讨人类社会的过去。客观与辩证地对待文明的历史，这是文明地对待世界文明史的一个关键。

英文摘要：
    A series of contention results from the research having been conducted or being conducted into the history of the world civilization at home as well as abroad, as to the interpretation of civilization and culture, the limits of their implication and their mutual relations. There is, however, another important issue, namely, how to correctly treat the history of the world civilization and scientifically discuss the past of human society. To treat the history objectively and dialectically is one of the key issues in treating the history in a civilized way.
